Hi Wendy – you can make it as “granita” without an ice cream maker. Granita has a little bit coarser grain and is more “icy” but still makes a delicious frozen treat. This blog about watermelon sorbet details how to make granita.

We use Oatly Oatmilk for the milk substitute in a 1:1 ratio for anyone looking for a nut free dairy free egg free sunflower free etc sub 🙂

Thank you!! Its also one of the few things we cook for guests and did it today – and the kids love helping out as well! We bought the disney mickey mouse waffle maker – and wallah – yummy just like the park’s resteraunts mickey waffles : )
